NBC Democratic Debate

During the summer before junior year, Ashley had the privilege to be selected as a mock debate intern/production assistant for the NBC Democratic Presidential Debate at the Adrienne Arsht Center in Miami. Through this opportunity, she spent a week preparing for the televised debate by representing the candidates. The Mock Debaters utilized research to accurately portray each candidate and simulate the potential debate for the producers to stage. Ashley was able to not only watch the debates live, but was also able to discuss policy with the various candidates.
